All: We have a new NSF project for studying lead-free nanosolders (e.g., Sn, Ir). The project will involve significant in-situ TEM work for investigating the high-temperature behavior (melting, solidification, diffusion, joint formation via alloying, etc) of nanostructures (e.g. nanowires, nanorods, and nanoparticles).
