Interesting the idea is, there are still some problems unknown in this paper: 1. Though it has a certain effect on the thickness and uniformity to pretreat the sample with a, detrimental phase A inevitably appeared which didn't show in the untreated samples. As we know, crack is always existed between phase A and phase B due to the difference of their thermal expansion coefficient. Therefore, please explain where the specific advantage of this method is 2. It is analyzed in this paper that increasing the temperature or extending the time may contribute to the appearance of phase A. This statement seems to contradict with the reported conclusion that increasing the temperature or extending the time get the carbon atom diffuse sufficiently and then generate towards the more stable phase B. Why is it? Please give the explanation. ![]() ![]() |

1 using a pretreatment of samples while the thickness and uniformity has certain effect, but inevitably appeared detrimental phase A, untreated does not appear. You know A and B two phase often appear cracks or gaps, this is due to their different thermal expansion coefficient. Therefore, please indicate the specific advantage of this method reflected where? 2 in this paper the analysis points out, raising the temperature or prolonging the time can induce A phase appeared, this statement seems to contradict with the reported conclusions.Extension of time or temperature increase can make the C atoms are fully diffusion, and toward a more stable phase direction to generate B.However this paper analysis appears in contrast, please explain. |
