The reviewers have made an important number of suggestions that will improve the quality and significance of your manuscript. I encourage you to consider these comments and make an appropriate revision of your manuscript. The reviewers' comments are below. Once you have addressed all comments by the reviewers and your revised manuscript is complete, please submit your revision online by logging onto the Elsevier Editorial System for Food and Chemical Toxicology: Reviewer #1: Overall, the results detailed in the manuscript make sense as presented. There are grammatical and word choice issues throughout the manuscript that would need to be corrected prior to publication. Major comments concern lack of detail of methods used. Specifically, there is no detail as to how tumor weight and ascites volume were measured. Further, there was no detail for how tumor, and lymph node were collected. It is interesting that there was no discussion of pre-clinical toxicity studies with XXX. All references to XXX describe clinical studies. It might be worth some discussion of pre-clinical toxicity studies to help put the results in the current manuscript into perspective. Reviewer #2: Minor Revision should be needed Abstract should be modified, particularly after the objective, author must be included the little more information related methodology. Introduction 1st paragaraph, line no 12, there are six references, keep any three or two recent references and remaining should be deleted. It may be checked throughout the text Reference should be checked throughout the text and according the journal format Reviewer #3: 1 - According to OECD, the treatment must be daily and continous. I suggest that you perform the tests following the OECD international protocols. 2 - You should include in your study a control group that receive only XX, without the xenograft, with the aim to observe abnormalities caused by your test-drug. |
