大家一定不会陌生吧,这不是同一个人吧
看好咯,左边是《The Big Bang Theory》里的Sheldon, 右边是理查德·费曼Richard Feynman(1918年5月11日-1988年2月15日)美国著名的物理学家。1965年诺贝尔物理奖得主。
引用一些这位大牛的话吧,我很喜欢:

“Look, they're giving me these wonderful offers, but they don't realize that I'm burned out! Of course I can't accept them. They expect me to accomplish something, and I can't accomplish anything! I have no ideas...”

(工资、超牛职位都是浮云。。你们挖我去期盼我做些什么呢,我已燃烧殆尽~ ~背景潜台词:这是他刚做教授那会,由于被占用太多时间导致研究上没什么成就,于是他开始自我怀疑,frustration...)


The first principle is that you must not fool yourself--and you are the easiest person to fool. So you have to be very careful about that. After you've not fooled yourself, it's easy not to fool other scientists. You just have to be honest in a conventional way after that.

(第一个原则,就是你一定不能糊弄自己--自己最容易糊弄自己。所以你得非常非常的小心。等你过了自己这关,不去唬别人 就比较容易做到了。你只要对别人据实交代就对了。)


So I have just one wish for you--the good luck to be somewhere where you are free to maintain the kind of integrity I have described, and where you do not feel heed by a need to maintain your position in the organization, or financial support, or so on, to lose your integrity. May you have that freedom.

Sheldon Lee Cooper, B.S., M.S., M.A., Ph.D. and Sc.D., is a fictional character on the CBS television series The Big Bang Theory, portrayed by actor Jim Parsons. Parsons has won two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe for his role.



Sheldon is a Caltech theoretical physicist who shares an apartment with his colleague and best friend, Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki).They live across the hallway from a highly sociable waitress named Penny (Kaley Cuoco).Sheldon exhibits a strict adherence to routine, a total lack of social skills, a tenuous understanding of irony, sarcasm, and humor, and a general lack of humility or empathy.He is vocal about his own superior intellect compared to those around him. These characteristics provide the bulk of his character's humor and the center of some. He has been described as the show's breakout character.

计算机之父



约翰·冯·诺伊曼(英语:John von Neumann,1903年12月28日-1957年2月8日),匈牙利语原名:Neumann János,出生于匈牙利的美国籍犹太人数学家,现代计算机创始人之一。他在计算机科学、经济、物理学中的量子力学及几乎所有数学领域都作过重大贡献。

1945年6月,冯·诺伊曼与戈德斯坦、勃克斯等人,联名发表了一篇长达101页纸的报告,即计算机史上著名的“101页报告”,是现代计算机科学发展里程碑式的文献。明确规定用二进制替代十进制运算,并将计算机分成五大组件,这一卓越的思想为电子计算机的逻辑结构设计奠定了基础,已成为计算机设计的基本原则。1951年,EDVAC计算机宣告完成。由于他在计算机逻辑结构设计上的伟大贡献,他被誉为“计算机之父”。

Von Neumann was a founding figure in computer science. Von Neumann's hydrogen bomb work was played out in the realm of computing, where he and Stanisław Ulam developed simulations on von Neumann's digital computers for the hydrodynamic computations. During this time he contributed to the development of the Monte Carlo method, which allowed solutions to complicated problems to be approximated using random numbers.

Because using lists of "truly" random numbers was extremely slow, von Neumann developed a form of making pseudorandom numbers, using the middle-square method. Though this method has been criticized as crude, von Neumann was aware of this: he justified it as being faster than any other method at his disposal, and also noted that when it went awry it did so obviously, unlike methods which could be subtly incorrect.

Maria Curie is a world-renowned scientist study in the major of radioactive phenomena. All her life, she  won the Nobel Prize twice as she discovered two natural radioactive elements named radium and polonium. However, she did not think of it as successful and work hard and in pority, she devoted all her life in radioactism.

I feel more and more admiration for the greatness of her personality. Her strong and pure of her will, her strictself-discipline, her objective, her impartiality judgment - all of which are very rarely concentrated in a person. At any time she awared that she is public servants of the community, and she is extreme modesty, never to leave no space for complacent.

Yuan Longping
Professor Yuan is widely acknowledged for the discovery of the genetic basis of heterosis in rice—a phenomenon in which the progeny of two distinctly different parents grow faster, yield more, and resist stress better than either parent. In developing his “three-line system” of hybrid rice, Professor Yuan and his team soon produced a commercial hybrid rice variety called Nan-you No. 2, which was released in 1974. With yields 20 percent higher than previous varieties, Professor Yuan’s new crop immediately began to improve food availability in China.

In the three decades following his breakthrough achievement, planting of this new crop has spread so widely, so that now almost half of China’s rice production area is planted in hybrid rice with a 20 percent higher yield over previous varieties. This translates into food to feed approximately 60 million more people per year in China alone. Beyond this exceptional accomplishment, Professor Yuan has built an additional legacy of combating food shortages and hunger through his:

--Developing of a new technique for increasing hybrid seed yields through restriction of self-pollination;
--Facilitating the establishment of the hybrid rice seed production industry in China;
--Developing new strategies to further improve hybrid rice
--Developing a successful two-line system of hybrid rice;
--Developing higher yielding “super hybrid rice”;
--Spreading his techniques for hybrid rice throughout Asia and to Africa and the Americas; and
--Training thousands of scientists and researchers from over 25 countries.

In 1906 the University of Vienna Department of physics learning. Doctorate in 1910. After graduation, in second University of Vienna Institute of physics, until1920 before the main taught at University of Vienna from 1921 to 1927, he taught at University of Zurich, beginning a few years, his main research about thermal problems of statistical theory, writes about the gas and reaction dynamics, vibration, lattice vibrations ( and the energy contribution of thermodynamics and Statistics ) and other papers. He also studied the theory of color vision, he related to color blindness and blue yellow blindness frequency relationship between the explanation for physiologists are acceptable.
