The Equilibrium Zone (EZ) is the region in the bed where the adsorbate held by the alumina approaches the static equilibrium isotherm correlating the relative humidity of the adsorbate in the inlet gas stream with the weight of adsorbate in the bed at the operating temperature and pressure.
