该词属于稀有的新词汇，字典，网络少有收录和解释。
（1）但是可以从文献中，看出其意思This study was conducted as part of the Octabaix project, a prospective population-based study of 328 community-dwelling inhabitants born in 1924 (aged 85 at the time of inclusion).
参考文献：
《European Journal of Internal Medicine》中的一篇论文《Geriatric assessment and chronic kidney disease in the oldest old: The Octabaix study》，
文中的“Octabaix”与“aged 85 ”对应，翻译为“80多岁的老年人”较适合。
（2）另外，从词汇看出，“Octa-”为八的前缀，“baix”为装点部分，整个意思也是80岁的意思，也就是80岁老年人。
