Well, I attended ielts exam on 2009, my oral part got 6.5, but other part were not good.It was a long time that I didn't speak in english to others, but I always say something to myself and my kid, although he is just 8 months now, anyway it is good to hear u'd like to talk in english.

I have written the IELTS before, but I wasn't satisfied  with the score I've gotten and I plan to write the exam again somewhen.
The only problem is the time. I'm in Germany and normally I have time in the evening. Is it ok for you?

I dont know why you cant use your convenient and advantaged conditions. Many of our countries person to invite an foreigner to study their English and pay them much money. But you already have the advantages. You can't pay money and only at your spared time to communicate with your classmates or your roommates or your surrounding peoples. At anytime you can talked with them, I think if you have the passionate and hearty to talked with them, they will all have many things to talke with you。But I haven't lived in the oversea, I don't know the custom of the oversea. Its just  my guess . Maybe the foreigners thinking is defferent from my, but I think you will have a good achievement in the future. Good luck!

you are right, but it is difficult to talk with some native speaker because you have different custom as you said. Of couse, i can talk with my friend, but unlikely we can talk in deep.

This is common for a lot chinese in overseas, i believe.
