With the development of automotive industry , we need high-level lube for machinery equipment .It is hard to satisfy high speed ,high burthen and high-power through improving refine technics .In modern lube ,it is no doubt that additive is the most important ,which can be useful for reducing friction ,increasing mechine performance .Viscosity index improver is the most important additive in preparation multilevel diesel oil ,hydraulic medium ,and gear compound ,which can improve low-temperature and high-temperature performance .
Recently ,we usually used viscosity index improver such PMA ,OCP ,HSD,PIB and so on .As a result of OCP is steady to hot ,easy to body ,good to solve in oil ,and inexpensive to consume ,so it has been widely used in medium-high lube .However ,it is largely lucked for single-action additive .Therefore ,we should lead disperse ,antioxidant and resistance to wear group by chemical ways .
Based on the OCP ,this paper has a deep study in viscosity index improver ,which include three aspects .
Firstly ,we use organic oxide as evocation agent and thermal oxidization methods to degrade the OCP .Via single factor ,we can ensure the optimizing condition to prepare OCP .When we use 150SN oil ,16% OCP ,0.1% cumene hydroperoxide at 170 oC ,after 4h the stability of the result product is 20,and bodying can reached 6.50mm2/s .
Secondly ,we use bonding technique and amination reaction to make the single – action OCP functional .We lead into nitrogen-containing group on the multipolymer molecule ,which can improve the dispersivity . From the single-action and orthogonal test ,we know that 0.5% benzoyl peroxide as a additive ,12% maleic anhydride and 7% amide ,the temperature of bonding and amination 160 oC,140 oC respectly can give a result bodying performance upon 5.83mm2/s and the dispersivity can reach 65.22% ,which can be used in high – medium lube .
At last ,we lead into antioxidant group to prepare a dispersive and multiple effect OCP .By single-action and orthogonal test ,we can ensure the optimalizing condition ,12% maleic anhydride ,7% amide ,5% polyphenoils ,and the temperature of bonding ,amination and antioxide are 160 oC, 150 oC , 160 oC respectively .In this way , we obtain a product ,which bonding performance is 5,92mm2/s,dispersivity is 63.5% ,close-burning is below 15.8mg and panel coker is below 4.5 level .In a word ,the product we prepared can be used in medium-high lube. |
