BCDO与DNA相互作用的紫外/可见吸收光谱见图3.33所示。若荧光分子以嵌入方式结合于DNA双螺旋的碱基对时,其紫外吸收光谱会表现出峰位的红移以及减色效应。
由图3.33可以看出,DNA与BCDO作用后,BCDO的吸收光谱在260nm处的特征吸收峰产生明显的减色效应,这可认为是BCDO与DNA发生了嵌插作用。这是由于插入配体的BCDO小分子与DNA的配体的π空轨道与碱基的π*轨道发生偶合,偶合以后的π*轨道因为部分填充电子,使得π~π*跃迁几率减小,从而产生减色效应。

The UV-Vis spector of the interaction between BCDO and DNA is seen in the figure 3.33 .When fluorescent molecule binded with double helix DNA in a imbedded way ,it UV-Vis spector will display a red shift and hypochromic effect on the peak .
From the picture of 3.33 ,we can see that BCDO’s absorb spector has a special absorption peak after the action between DNA and BCDO ,from which we think there has a intercalation .we conclude that the π space orbit of  the  ligand of BCDO and DNA has a coupling with the π* orbit ,then the electron in the π* orbital increased to reduce transition probability on π~π* and we can see a hypochromic effect .
