打不开的可以看这里: Job Details:Post Doctoral Research Assistant School/Department:Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development Position Type:Fixed term Hours:35 Salary from/to:33966 - 33966 Purpose and Main Duties The Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development, (CBCD, www.cbcd.bbk.ac.uk) Department of Psychological Sciences, is seeking a postdoctoral scientist to contribute to the development of a large scale research project associated with the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) and the British Autism Study of Infant Siblings (BASIS). IMI is Europe's largest public-private initiative aiming to speed up the development of better and safer medicines for patients. IMI is a joint undertaking between the European Union and the pharmaceutical industry. BASIS is a UK network for studying infants at-risk for a later diagnosis of autism. Following funding from a consortium of charities lead by Autistica and the MRC, we have established the BASIS network for recruiting and assessing infant siblings who have an older brother or sister already diagnosed with autism. A key objective for the next 5 years is to initiate and conduct a large-scale longitudinal study (longitudinal study of infant siblings) involving collaborators from several European sites and using multiple methods. Candidate Requirements The post holder will be responsible for contributing to the planning, and then coordinating, of the large scale longitudinal multi-method study (using behavioural, eye tracking and ERP, EEG measures) with infants at-risk for autism. Close collaboration is required with Professor Tony Charman’s team at the Institute of Education who will conduct the follow-up assessments at 2 and 3 years of age. While research interests associated with the project are desirable, a strong research background in the development of typical or atypical populations, with at least some of the methods to be used, and good project management skills, are required. About the Department The Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development incorporates a group of researchers studying brain and psychological development in babies and toddlers using behavioural testing and brain imaging methods. The Centre, led by Professor Johnson, currently involves about forty people. The Centre's web address is www.cbcd.bbk.ac.uk Further Information This job is a full-time position, fixed term contract to 30th September 2013 in the first instance. The initial salary award will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. The appointment may be subject to a probationary period of six months. Birkbeck also provides a defined benefit pension scheme, 31 days paid leave, flexible working arrangements and other great benefits. Closing date 30 April 2012 in the first instance, or until the post is filled. Interviews are due to be held as soon as possible after the closing date. Informal enquiries should be made to Leslie Tucker, Research Support Team Leader email: l.tucker@bbk.ac.uk, in the first instance.
