文献中的一句话，不知道怎么翻译

The identity of the enigmatic peak was resolved with an elementary experiment, running the XRD analysis of the sample holder covered by the double-sided tape. 这部分主要是对玻璃XRD图谱的分析。“sample holder” 应该不是样品架的意思，the double-sided tape也不是双面胶的意思吧。 |
