Energy consumption evaluation formula established in this paper was adopted to carry out analysis and calculation of the energy consumption evaluation for the investigated two sewage treatment plants (CAST Process and A2/O Process). The results indicated that energy consumption of sewage treatment plant with CAST Process was less than the less than that of sewage treatment plant with A2/O Process. It was consistent with the actual survey results, indicating that the energy consumption evaluation system established in this paper may be used to accurately determine the energy consumption of the urban sewage treatment plants and that it had certain reference value for the guidance of process design and operation management of urban sewage treatment plant. Through the comparison between carbon emissions data of the investigated three sewage treatment plants and the actual energy consumption, it was found that unit carbon emission of CAST Process sewage treatment plant was the highest. It was the same to energy consumption. Thus, we got the results: for sewage treatment plant, the greater the energy consumption was, the greater the unit carbon emission was. Finally, according to the actual situation of the two sewage treatment plants, corresponding energy-saving advices were provided. |
