芬兰奥卢大学生物中心招聘公派联合培养,公派读博，访问学者和相关学生 已有11人参与

我最近在芬兰奥卢大学(University of Oulu)生物中心组建了一个实验室，主要研究基因转录调控网络和癌症，个体发育的机制。详情请见我的实验室主页http://www.oulu.fi/biocenter/groups/wei 在此希望相关专业，对我的研究感兴趣的公派留学生(公派读博)或者访问学者加入，工作语言为英语。本实验室已建立多个基因敲除模型和一系列最新的下一代测序相关的高通量技术，以及多个的国际性合作机会，包括和赫尔辛基大学，卡罗林斯卡医学院和哈弗医学院等。确保能够给你很好的科研训练，有兴趣请给我写信gonghong.wei@oulu.fi 芬兰奥卢大学，全球排名在300-400间，虽然算不上最好，但绝不算差。她的地理位置比较靠北，冬天黑，但不冷（北大西洋暖流）。至于说一些手续问题，我这里会努力帮忙解决。 博士注册基本要求如下（大概的内容） 1、英语成绩 TOFEL 570PBT/88IBT；或A类IELTS 6.5 （小分最低5.5）；或者硕士学习阶段为英语授课。 2、硕士学位证经CDGDC转送 3、学习计划 4、导师同意接受 本实验室研究范围的英文概括 The Biocenter Oulu is the forefront organization of biosciences and molecular medicine in the University of Oulu, Finland. The functional genomics laboratory of Dr. Gonghong Wei at the Center is inviting application for exchanging and CSC-supported PhD students, and visiting scholars. The research group focuses on fundamental roles of the ETS family transcription factors in the cell growth control, prostate cancer and leukemia. There are nearly 30 ETS members in the human and mouse genomes, respectively. We aim to address on a genome-wide scale how the oncogenic ETS family members contribute targeting specificity in the specific cancer-type context? What mechanisms confer the unique biological roles of the ETS factors in vivo? We will apply ChIP-seq, FAIRE-seq, DNase-seq and 3C-derived methods in combination with the next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology to map ETS cistrome, epigenetic profile, open chromatin context and long-range chromatin interactome. We will also perform RNA-seq/Affymetrix chip to capture the transcriptome landscape/expression profiling after perturbation of individual ETS member. The resulting regulatory genomic data will be further applied to determining the functional genetic variants identified by genome-wide association studies. The critical ETS targets of clinical interest will be deeply validated in multiple animal models including transgenic and knockin/out mice. Qualifications The candidate should hold or have a to-be-achieved MSc or PhD in molecular cell biology or a related field as well as strong motivation to work in a dynamic and challenging research area of molecular medicine. The candidate should have good communication skills in English and expertise in life sciences and biomedicine.
