traditional ways to examine the problem of electric cable include bridge method,time domain reflection method and frequency domain reflection method,but those methods must be applied off-line,so they can't detect intermittent problems of short time.Sequantial time domain reflectometry and extended frequency domain reflection make on-line detecting possible.Still,the space resolution of this two methods are limited by code rate of the pseudo-random code,not only the expensive high speed pseudo-random code generator is required if you need to improve resolution,but also false-alarm and erroneous judgement are brought in with the periodicity of the pseudo-random code. |
