Abstract:
Perovskite catalysts LaMnO3 and La0.8K0.2MnO3 were prepared using the citric acid complex method, and temperature programmed oxidation (TPO) was employed to investigate the activity of the catalytic combustion of soot under different reaction conditions. After XRD, O2-TPD of NO-TPD, XPS, and NO pretreatment, the catalysts were characterized and analyzed by O2-TPD and other techniques. The results showed that the deep oxidation of soot was closely related to the active oxygen content. Apart from being partially oxidized into NO2, the NO also promoted the generation of reactive oxygen species. Compared with LaMnO3, La0.8K0.2MnO3 had more oxygen vacancies which were conducive to oxygen activation and migration. Therefore, NO played a more significant role in the catalysis of soot by La0.8K0.2MnO3. |
