看帖回帖赚rp Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research chemist at the University of Cambridge, UK, to work with Professor Chris Abell from March 2012 in the Department of Chemistry in a collaborative project that will use fragment-based approaches to discover molecules that inhibit enzymes from Mycobacterium tuberculosis (see Angew. Chemie Intl. Ed. 2009, 48, 8452-8456 for an example of our work). The project will involve the synthesis of enzyme inhibitors using fragment-based approaches, and is part of a larger drug discovery initiative. Applicants should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in organic chemistry. Proven expertise in synthetic organic chemistry is essential; some knowledge of enzymology and drug discovery would be advantageous. Salary range: GBP27,428-GBP35,788 pa. This post is available until February 28th 2014 in the first instance.
