1. Search the internet for those universities you are interested in. 2. Target those colleges or departments with your research area, i.e., British & American literature and rank them in order of desirability. 3. Email the head of the department or the professor you want to do research with and express your admiration for their strengths and show your strong interest to do research there. 4. Remember to indicate you are state-funded visiting scholar and do not invovle any financial responsibility on the target university (this is what they care about) Good luck! |
