the PROC MIXED procedure with REPEATED statement of SAS

All statistical analyses were performed using the PROC MIXED procedure with REPEATED statement of SAS (SAS v 9.1; SAS Inst. Inc., Cary, NC, USA). Fixed effects in the model were different carbon source, incubation time, DON, and the interaction between incubation time and DON and between carbon source and DON. Individual incubation bottle nested within treatment was a random effect. All multiple comparisons except for DON degradation between least squares means for treatment, incubation time, and the interaction between treatment and incubation time were carried out with Tukey–Kramer method at P<0.05.
