1. The mixture of Huadian oil shale and semi-coke corn stalk particles could generate a stabilized combustion in the circulation fluidized bed. 2. With the increase of the stalk particles, the test platform tends to be more stable to run and the bed temperature tends to balance with a significantly higher furnace outlet temperature, the concentration of O2 and CO therefore decreased accordingly. 3. The N content for corn stalk particles is higher than that of oil shale semi-coke, but the increase of the mixing ratio didn¡¯t lead to a significant increase in NOX formation. Such a large proportion of the fuel mixture combustion could not only control the furnace temperature in a appropriate range, but also could control the amount of NOX generation at a low level. 4. With the increase of the semi-coke corn stalk particles proportion, the content of solid remnants and combustible ash was gradually decreased less than 2%, which could meet the requirements of building materials. 5. A higher height and larger chamber should be designed for the circulating fluidized bed furnace, which would guarantee the combustion efficiency of the particles that cannot be captured by the separator.
