老师回信了，很高兴，但是又很纠结，因为他让我写报告一个月了，现在说了同样的话，是例行公事（ 先前是自己跟他联系，现在是联系该学校同时学校又把他举荐给我，他发的回信），还是忘记了我，又重复回复呢（当然详细很多），我不想猜测老师什么，我想问问，我现在改怎么回答呢，哪位助人为乐者帮我回复一下吧，因为本周考雅思，折磨的我，不知如何让回复（好气自己 ）。。。我已经看了6篇文章，但是还没写，我考完雅思就写，想与他下周联系，并问一些相关问题，请他给予指导，还是喜欢这个老师研究的，所以还是想尽快拿到OFFER，毕竟大家都是认真的对待申请的。 Thank you for writing to our Uni. Your CV is very impressive, and seems you could suit well to our Research Group. If you would like to work particularly with XXX课题组 , you must be sure that your interests are exactly in what we do. I would also like to be sure that you are willing to work on applied mathematics and physics in production and reservoir engineering. Please download my publication list from website of our School. If you would like one of the subjects, you could select 2-3 post-1995 journal papers and write 3-5 pages of critical review on each paper. Presently we are mostly interested in colloidal flows in porous media, IOR using fines migration, nano technologies and splitting in IOR modelling. I would suggest your review about each paper contain formulae which show the essence of the method, proposal how to improve the system of equations adopted in this paper, highlights of limitations of the system of equations adopted in this paper, possible applications of results of this paper. You should do some research (textbooks, monographs, SPE papers) on the subject or at least show that you understood everything from the paper. You could invent another means to clearly demonstrate that you understood everything from the paper. Yet, you should do some introductory research showing your abilities in math... If you cannot download some papers, I would be happy to send you pdf copies. I wish you enjoy what we do! Regards XXX |
