The Department of State has temporarily halted the issuance of ALL F and J visas at ALL US Embassies and Consulates due to technical difficulties. This is effective immediately. Please note that this may cause delays in travel. Students and Scholars who currently have a scheduled visa appointment or are pending a visa application are advised to contact the embassy/consulate to determine the status of your current appointment and/or application. Students and Scholars who were planning on applying for a visa over Winter Break should be warned that this recent incident could cause delays. The International Office will continue to monitor this recent situation and keep you informed of any changes.
