accept
意思是接受或是同意某事物，而
except
意思是排除。

there and their
前一个单词是地点副词而后者是物主代词。例如Their house is over there.

principle and principal

Principles
是信条，价值观或是基本原则，而
principal
意思是学校的校长，或是主要的事物。

advice and advise
前一个单词是个名词而后一个是动词，因此你可以advise someone by giving them good advice.
