However, to do this, you would need to read French language archives – and so either have French, or master it within the first year of a PhD. First, would you kindly send me an up-to-date cv, with – if possible – two writing samples in English (or French). Second, I would encourage you to go on the web site of the Department of History at McGill University: http://www.mcgill.ca/history/graduate and find out the times and criteria for application. |
