我尝试分析一下： 主句：A desire might give way to the desire . to throw over reality a light 动词不定式做 A desire 的后置定语。that never was 是light的后置定语从句。 on the part of what we might consider a novelist scientist to record exactly and concretely the structure and texture of a flower 是the desire的介词后置定语，what引导介词of的宾语从句。 只是 A desir 与the desire的修饰语比较多，结构还是比较简单的。 |
