大虾，帮我看看我的文章审稿意见是什么意思啊，还有没得救？

本人投了一篇BMC系列的杂志，是关于进化的。等了近两月，投稿系统变成了rejected. 但In-house Editor给我写的信是这样。大家看看还有没有希望： Dear Prof XX Thank you for considering BMC Evolutionary Biology for your manuscript (above). Peer review of your manuscript is now complete and, in the light of the reports, I am sorry to say that we cannot consider the manuscript for publication and are closing your file. The reviewers' comments are accessible in PDF format via the links at the bottom of this email. Please contact editorial@biomedcentral.com if you have any problems opening the files. Our Associate Editor provided the following comments: -------------- This is a well-done phylogenetic and biogeographic analysis of a family of aquatic plants that could in principle be suitable for BMC Evolutionary Biology despite its mainly descriptive phylogenetic scope. However, as remarked by the reviewers, some major revision is necessary, and only if the authors manage to appropriately define the interest and scope of the paper and the relevance of their results in introduction and discussion could this manuscript be considered for this journal. I also would like to invite the authors to always have in mind that the readership of BMC Evolutionary Biology is much wider than specialized botanists, and it is therefore crucial to explain at various levels what kind of organisms are targeted here. for instance, in the title and in the first sentences of Abstract and Introduction, it is crucial to state that it is aquatic plants that are being studied here, and it would be good to briefly describe what these plants look like and where they live, also in the Abstract. ------------- Please note that we think it may be possible to revise your manuscript to address these comments but that this would require longer than our standard revision period. However, we are willing to consider your manuscript further once all the concerns have been addressed. Therefore, if you are able to address all of these concerns, please do submit a new manuscript to BMC Evolutionary Biology. If you are able to do this, a full covering letter, explaining the revisions made, should accompany the submission. Please note that this decision applies across the BMC-series of journals (http://www.biomedcentral.com/info/authors/bmcseries#journallist). Therefore, if you were to submit your revised manuscript to another journal within the BMC-series, your submission should also be accompanied by a full covering letter.
