| 双龙湖原名半截沟水库，成库于1964年。1992年实施两路城南开发时，因其蜿蜒曲折，形如双龙戏水，更名双龙湖，主要功能是城区景观、游乐。双龙湖位于渝北区双龙街道城区，集雨面积1.35km2，设计总库容为96.0万m3，有效库容74.0万m3，库面17公顷，平均水深4.4m（最深处13m，最浅处1m），属浅水型城市湖泊，是两路城区环境和风貌的核心组成部分，具有极其重要的生态服务功能 |

| The original name of Lake Shuanglong is Reservoir Banjiegou and it was found in 1964. It changed its name to Lake Shuanglong because it is zigzag like two dragons playing in water when developed for two road in southern city in 1992. Its main function is for sightseeing and entertainment. Lake Shuanglong, located in downtown of Street Shuanglong in District Yubei, has area of raining accumulation of 1.35 km2, designed reservoir storage of 960,000 m3, realized storage of 740,000 m3, area of reservoir of 17 hectare and average water depth of 4.4 m where the deepest one is 13m and lowest one is 1m. It is an urban lake with shallow water and is the core part of two-road downtown environment and view, which has important ecological service function. |
