| The research evaluated BPR tools and techniques as the primary data collection and analysis methodology. Such strategy enforced strict guidelines on how the data collection process is being conducted. Selected in this case study S-A research framework (reprinted and used with permission, see Appendix C for more details) was focused on hierarchical mapping of BPR Techniques and Tools to the Stage-Activity Framework during all data collection phases. The researcher used an extensive number of checklists and rubrics during observation. The same data collection technique was used during interviews as the process of interview was integrated with the weekly or other regular forms of corporate communication. The project system status updates was considered to be a crucial part of the project success strategy. Since a number of groups were represented by 100% of the population, the survey as a data collection strategy was dismissed as too impersonal. Other rich formats of data collections were classified as more effective and therefore used in the data collection process. These elements were identified as direct participation and in-depth interviews. |
