| A case study with mixed research methodology provided depth and detail through direct quotation and careful description of situations, events, interactions and observed behaviors. The researcher used deductive analysis process of gathering and selecting data to introduce a holistic picture of the problem domain. Interpretive analysis was used to describe IT and related elements during all phases of the project. Rich description was used to introduce concepts of BPR, ILM, or other essential elements of used methodology. The inductive analysis allowed reaching conclusion based on observation and participant observation. Such analysis was later used to point at the logic generalizing to produce a universal claim or principle from observed data. Quantitative data provided simple explanation between what was once considered an acceptable system performance and the new system performance. Field notes pertaining to observation and interviews were transcribed, reviewed, and coded into a research log. Project Management documentation was used simultaneously to match existing phase of research with the project implementation. |
