The theory of modern information sharing lifecycle management (ISLM) and its applicability in the charter school system introduced in chapter 1 and further developed and discussed in chapter 2 has not been fully researched and understood. Problem domain introduced in this research indicated that the real value of a modern and formal information acquisition and retention strategy in a charter school environment might influence the effectiveness of the administrative services. The breadth and depth of literature reviewed in chapter 2 pointed at some universal value of such formal information strategy. Chapter 2 partially suggested that there was a universal value in identifying business processes without an unnecessary focus on the type of industry that such process represents. The real value of the entire IT must be embedded into daily business operations and as such should be researched and analyzed. Findings in chapter 2 suggested that academic environment in its fundamental values and beliefs must be analyzed using established change methodology, such as BPR to make a real impact on such problem domain. |
