| Another assumption was made that expressed the desire of the management team of COS to believe in influential role of IT for academic effectiveness of operations. The study also investigated operational divide between the purely administrative side of managing academic institution and strictly academic operations. The assumption of the study was that both elements differ to some extent and should be analyzed as separate entities. While the case study pointed out the similarities of the school environment such an element must be used as one of the assumptions. The final assumption was based on used methodologies. Although the case studies are well established in the academic environment they are not the only option and the use of it was made with an assumption of the best tool available. The target population of this case study included all available administrative and academic employees of COS and the assumption was made that the findings in one remote learning center could be applied to other centers. |
