What emission wavelength did you use for measuring the excitaiton spectrum? The peak at 323 nm looks like half of the emission maximum. In order to find whether the band in the range of 300-400 nm really contributes to the fluorescence emission, you can try to excite the Au NCs with 360 nm, which should lead to stronger fluorescence emission than that with 500 nm. |
