| As reported in the literature [13], both Bronsted and Lewis acid sites play a key role in catalytic dehydration of methanol as in case of zeolites. Hence the type and the strength of the acid sites must have an important contribution to the observed catalytic conversion in case of r-Al2O3 as well. Hence acidity measurements were carried out on the synthesized catalysts. |
