The XRD analysis (Fig. 3) of the catalysts showed that the added Mg or K decreased theMo2Ccrystal size(Table 1 and Fig. 3). The improved Mo2C dispersion is also reflected in the activity data of Table 2.The naphthalene conversion on the Mg- and K-doped Mo2C/HY catalysts was marginally higher than on theMo2C/HY, whereas the selectivity to hydrogenated products increased significantly and the polyaromatic and RO product selectivity decreased. |
