With the temperature increases, the flux of the MF and UF membranes also increase. When the temperature increases to 28 ¡ãC, the fluid viscosity is smaller,simultaneously, the diastole of the membrane pore and the membrane flux reach the largest degree. But when the temperature increases from 24 ¡ãC to 20 ¡ãC, the membrane flux of the MF increases not obviously.It may be because of the too high temperature which influences normal metabolism of the chlorella and as a result EPS increases, protein and nucleic acid also increase. These substances absorb on the membrane surface, leading to the water flux decreasing. |
