[交流] error in the criterion article.

There is a sentence in a article:The range of TVOC that is detected between and including n-hexane and n-hexadecane with gas chromatography.
but this sentence is modified in the updated version:The sum of VOCs detected between and including n-hexane and n-hexane with gas chromatography.
when I written the first sentence in the WORD(OFFICE),a green underline occured
I wonder whether the grammar of the first sentence is wrong.
