[交流] Turbulence intensity湍流强度的设置对模拟结果的影响

在模拟湍流的时候,需要设置turbulence intensity

我想和大家讨论一下,如果最开始turbulence intensity 设置的不对,或者turbulence intensity 无法估算(比如说回流产生的情况)

如果计算的时间足够的长,是否对最后的结果也没有什么影响?

希望各位达人解惑。

这是在user guide哪一章找到计算公式的?里面有几千页,我眼花了

我从fluent的user guide 上找到了答案:

1. For flows using one of the k-e models, one of the k-w models, or the RSM, the converged solutions or (for unsteady calculations) the solutions after a sufficiently long time has elapsed should be independent of the initial values for k and e  (or k and w).

2. For better convergence, however, it is beneficial to use a reasonable initial guess for k and e (or k and e). In general, it is recommended that you start from a fully-developed state of turbulence.When you use the enhanced wall treatment for the k- models or the RSM, it is critically important to specify fully-developed turbulence fields.

从上面的描述来看,因为 turbulence intensity

The relationship between the turbulent kinetic energy, k, and turbulence intensity, I, is
k =3/2(Uavg*I)^2

If you know the turbulence length scale, l, you can determine Turbulent Dissipation Rate e from the relationship
e = (C^3/4*k^3/2)/l

turbulence intensity实际上是用来估算k和的e,所以即使开始turbulence intensity设置的不准 如果是非稳态计算,计算时间足够长,对最后结果也不会产生太大影响
