第一次投稿，被编辑给拒了，不知道还有机会吗？ 已有8人参与

Thank you for submitting your manuscript for consideration for publication as a Letter in Langmuir. I have read your manuscript and cover letter. Based on my evaluation, I am returning your manuscript to you without review. My decision is based on the following considerations: 1. At Langmuir, we prefer to publish papers that provide new physical insights into fundamental processes or phenomena. The focus of your manuscript is on synthesis of hybrid films. If you were to show that the films you prepare with your method have particularly interesting properties, then a manuscript would be more appropriate for Langmuir. 2. There are many problems with the English grammar and syntax in your manuscript. This makes it difficult to read and understand, which normally frustrates reviewers and leads to negative recommendations concerning publication. 3. Your reference list contains only 4 citations (out of 31) to papers published within the past 5 years, none within the past 3 years. This suggests that the topic area of your manuscript is not so active as to warrant urgent publication of your results, an important criterion for publication as a Letter. In conclusion, I have decided that your manuscript is not appropriate for further consideration as a Letter in Langmuir. You might decide to perform additional experimental work and resubmit the manuscript as an Article, with updated referencing and improved English.
