Should I insist or leave the company?

I have worked in the current company for 3 years, Recently I feel depressed,because I can not improved and see the hope in my every day's life ,Every day's life is similar,It is a little dull and bored.Every morning,I do not want to get up because I know there is not too much work to do in the office.Every afternoon,I always try to leave the company as soon as possible. I feel I do not have enthusiasm and pleasure in my current job. I have got another offer but the work may be the same with the current job. But it can provide better salary.The problem is that I feel I can not be improved What I should do? Should I insist on the current job and wait for another better chance.Or should I leave and change the work envirment where I also can not see the future. |

I agree with this opinion.  From your story, maybe I can make a not correct conclusion about what you are. Maybe you come from a good family, maybe you are excellent enough from primary school to university, therefore, you don't understand how hard the live is. Maybe your current job is very boring or don't benefit your future development, but what I suggest you is, "Value your job, don't expect too much, and the opportunity always exists which is decided by your attitude and action". With the rapid increase of the amount of high-degree people, it is more difficult to get a good job. It's a well-known fact, and it's really a trend to change jobs from one company to another. But, it's a bet whether you will get better in another company or not. Here, I want to tell you a real story about one of my dormmates in undergraduate, which is sad and mabye is suggestive to you. Even until now, I still regard my dormmate, Li, as a intelligent, brave and able girl with dreams. After graduate as a ungraduate in 2002, she firstly worked in a machine-related company to draw pictures by computer. It's a very common job with high salary for her specility. But, she disliked it and changed to a press company after only one year. Yes, her writing is excellent and she enjoies reading books. Although the salary is lower than that of the former, she prefered to her interest. But, after another year, she quitted this job and jumped to a commerical company.  The only reason is, "Everyday, I have to face to the computer and the work is boring, and I want to challenges". (  , maybe it seems a little like what you have said in your post)Untill now, she is still stiving for her dream, and not married. Except her , we five dormmates all have happy families and cute children. As same as her attitue to career, I think, the big problem of her marriage is too idealistic. The essense of our life is plain without too much colorful excitements/surprises, and the essense of job is to make a living. Although my suggestion to you seems a little bitter, I expect you to think of your current situation carefully without impulses, and think about what you are good at or your specilty. It's a fact that we never make a living by only our interest. There are so many dislikes in the reastic and material society, what we should do is rather challenging it, than adapting ourselves to it. if you are really tired of the current situation， why not leave and try another job，besides you could get a better salary。But whatever you choose，life will become boring if we just work on the same thing day and day……this is what we can not change。 |
