求助一句审稿意见的翻译

So I recommend the author to make a cross-wavelet with a new time series of sunspots number when one atributes opposite signals to even (positive) and odd (negative) solar cycles. 审稿人给出了一个参考文献，但参考文献中写的我也不明白，需要继续追踪参考文献，但继续追踪的参考文献是一本英国出版的书。 审稿人给出参考文献是这样说的： The 22 yr solar cycle is usually not seen in sunspot number, but it can be identified when one attributes opposite signals to even (positive) and odd (negative) solar cycles (Hoyt and Schatten, 1997). After making this change in sunspot number time series, a new sunspot number time series is obtained that makes possible to detect the 22-yr cycle (Rz 22 yr). 请高手相救！谢谢 |
