coagulation 和 condensation

最近看文献，发现这样一句话：It is known that nanocrystal growth by coagulation leads to very broad size distributions, whereas growth by condensation leads to narrow size distributions, which further implies the Ostwald ripening process. 弄不清coagulation 和 condensation的区别，希望知道的大侠用中文解释一下！。。。多谢 |

通俗一点说，coagulation是纳米颗粒与纳米颗粒之间的作用，几个颗粒碰到一起，长一块了。 condensation不是纳米颗粒之间的直接作用，而是涉及到组成纳米颗粒的原子/离子/分子的解离和沉积。 例如，AgI胶体中，几个AgI纳米颗粒互相碰撞，聚并到一起形成aggregate就是coagulation过程。小的AgI颗粒上的Ag+离子或者I-离子溶解然后跑到大的AgI颗粒上沉积，这个过程就是Ostwald ripening，涉及到condensation。 |

The sol-gel method is based on inorganic polymerization reactions. The sol-gel process includes four steps: hydrolysis, polycondensation, drying, and thermal decomposition. （Chemical Reviews, 2005, Vol. 105, No. 4 1034页） 也有第二种意思的，像： Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD).
