[交流] Materials Science & Engineering A投稿的技术审查

最近第一次在Materials Science & Engineering A上投了一篇关于金属材料的文章，因为是第一次投这个，很多问题不清楚，自己看了一下投稿指南4月7号就投了，4月14号就受到编辑的回信，部分内容如下，因为是投稿的技术审查没有通过，有几个问题请教各位帮助，

We regret to inform you that your manuscript does not meet the Journal's required standard. Please make changes/corrections as detailed in the comments below.

Comments:

3) A prime novelty statement should be provided for ' Research Paper ' on a separate sheet. This is a short statement explaining what is novel in the paper.

4) Pages should be numbered sequentially.
文章类型有几种，我就是一般的学术论文，不知道None是什么意思，就选择 Research Paper，上面这个3）不知怎么解决了？还有这个页码是指manuscript吗，图片和表格也需要连续添加吗？请大家指点一下了~~~

我用world插入了页码但是在生成的PDF文件中还是看不到页码，这是什么原因，你是怎么添加页码的？
