When pH was 7, the more addition of dietary fiber more, the more amount of sodium cholate adsorbed, yet the more time required to reach the equilibrium with the maximum adsorption capacity up to 60mg / g or so, the adsorption rateup to 73.7%, time of the absorption of cholesterol 60min, the adsorption reaching the top 25mg / g,and the adsorption rate up to 55.9%.
the results above showed that dietary fiber on the pumpkin could bind certain substances, which has a variety of physiological functions beneficial to humans. |
