A friend of mine told me that "Forget it =for get it" some days ago. The moment i heard this sentence, i lost in my thought."Forget it = for get it. Are these contradictory?" I can not deny that there are many things we can't forget in our life. when i am in trouble, i will miss some wonderful things; when couples break up, we will recall the good memories. But if you decide to forget one thing or a person, you destination i think is definitely not to have it again. If this assume is not true, then i have to say, you still have not forgetten something or someone from beginning to end. And that's the second situation, you still want to have it. So, in my opinion, "Forget it" and "for get it", both they can not be equivalent. Forget is to forget, is to lost something in our memory.
