change是换个意思,有点选择性。
比如。change电话。就是换电话。可以换成手机。
change to是换成的意思,已经限制了。
或者其他change to 就已经规定要换成什么了a new telephone就是换成一部新的电话

你早就应该把这部电话换了
2、You really should change to a new telephone
你真应该换一部新电话机

change to ,replace with 的区别和用法
change 在原有基础上的更改，而replace则是替换原有的东西，完全不保留，通常和原有被替换的东西差别很大。

change的用法与注意

1. 用作名词，表示“变化”、“改变”，多用作可数名词，有时也可用作不可数名词：

自1978年以来这里发生了巨大的变化。

正:Great changes have taken place here since 1978.

正:Much change has taken place here since 1978.

2. 表示在某一方面的变化或改变，通常用介词 in。如：

There has been a change in the programme. 节目已有变动。

We hope there will be a change in the weather. 我们希望天气会变好。

比较以下用介词 of 的情形：

a change of address 住址的变更

3. 表示“零钱”、“找头”，是不可数名词。如：

chance用法三注意:

1. 表示“机会”，是可数名词，要表示“做某事的机会”，其后可接 to do sth 或 of doing sth。如：

It is a good chance to study [of studying] English. 这是学习英语的好机会。

【注】有时用 a chance for doing sth, 但较少见。

2. 表示“希望”、“可能性”，可用作可数名词或不可数名词。要表示“做某事的可能性”，通常后接“of＋(动)名词”或由that引导的同位语从句。如：

He has a good chance (no chance, not much chance) ofwinning. 他很有希望(没有希望，没多大希望)获胜。

There is still chance that you will pass the exam. 你考试及格还是有希望的。

【注】在现代英语中，chance 表示“可能性”时，其后有时也可接不定式，但不如用 of doing sth 普通。

3. 用于 by chance, 意为“偶然地”、“无意中”。如：

He met her by chance. 他是偶然遇到她的。
