每天学一个词（3月8日） 呵呵，昨晚我家断网了，连线都给剪了，同事及朋友上串下跳积极恢复，暂时没消息。而我前前星期天拉伤手，一直没理，这几天发作，去医院敷药，裹粽子，呵呵，现在虽有所好转，也比较麻烦，煮饭，洗澡，穿衣，都不好用，坐公交都扶不住的说。 都不是理由，像我们领导说：错就错了，任何理由不成立，所以我检讨，我致歉 我一般是在English Cafe 或论坛或平时报纸哪里，看到词，我想学/不懂/其它，我便专门学习下，没规律，纯属个人行为，具有片面性，很难学的全，我是菜鸟，觉得能学起来，就不错了。请大家多多指教！ 3月8日 appoint 形态变化 appointed, appointing, appoints 缩写 app, appt 及物动词 vt. 1.任命,指派[O9][O2][(+as/to)] They appointed him (to be) manager. 他们任命他为经理。 He appointed Williams as his deputy in the city of York. 他任命威廉斯作为他在约克市的代理人。 - Quite the contrary. - Then why not appoint me to the post? 正好相反 那他为什么不指派我 2.约定,指定;安排 Our visitors arrived at the appointed time. 我们的来宾在约定的时间到达了。 3.给...提供装备[H] 不及物动词 vi. 1.委派职务 近义词, 同义词 appoint ≈ appoint, charge, constitute, name, nominate 衍生词, 相关词 appoint → accredit, assign, authorise, authorize, co-opt, constitute, create, delegate, depute, deputize, designate, dub, empower, equip, establish, fit, fit out, found, institute, knight, make, name, nominate, outfit, pack, plant, deputise appoint,assign,designate,constitute都有任命、指派、委派的意思，那么它们之间在含义和用法上有何区别呢？ appoint的意思是“任命，指派，委任”，后多跟职位一类的名词； 例：They appointed him Minister of Education. 他们任命他为教育部长。 She was appointed to the Chairmanship of the Committee. 她被任命为委员会的主席。 assign的相关意思是“分配，分派，指定”，后多跟具体的工作。 The problem was assigned to a commission. 这项任务交给了一个特别委员会去处理。 I assign you to wash the dishes. 我分配你去洗盘子。 designate（常与as连用）指派；任命 He designated Smith as his successor. 他指定史密斯为他的继承人。 constitute 指定,任命,选派...的，用法与designate基本相同，只是constitute 的另一个意思“构成”用的比较多 The strikers constituted him their spokesman. 罢工工人选他为他们的发言人。 |
