[交流] Question: Polymer precipitation

I prepared the polymer containing Pt-backbone. Purification needs several times precipitation. I first dissolved it into dichloromethane and then precipited it from methanol. It was good. When I tried to another precipitation, it failed. No precipitation occured. The same conditions have been applied. what could be the reasons? thanks.

In my view,there may be some reasons.First,the amount of methanol isn't enough;Second,the concentration of  polymer in dichloromethane solution could be  to low too precipited.

Both are possible. But I use 1:300 ration of dichloromethane and methanol. And the dichloromenthane solution of the polymer is highly concentrated too.

I can not figure out something else. It may exist decomposition. I will check. Thanks
