| It should be noted that, though free water (free water and bound water) in biomass has been basically removed after moisture evaporation phase, the gas released from biomass during pyrolysis stage also contains large amounts of water vapor, which is due to the crystal water of biomass released at elevated temperatures and the water generated from a series of thermo-chemical reactions of organic components. |
