Young Couples of the 1980s :Where to Spend the Spring Festival?

Entering the last month of 2010,the lunar new year will embrace another debut with much discussion of when and where to go to spend the Spring Festival for those newly-married couples--- mainly the 1980s.
The get-together dinner party on the New Year's eve is always seen as one of the most important one for a large majority of Chinese folks. But,the problem lies in that where to go for that becomes a headache or even triggers some conflict for some young people who are mostly the only-one kid in their family.
No doubt,to be accompanying one's own parents is happy and comfortable. After all, those parents have made much sacrifice to the growth of the kids, while the gradually independent sons or daughters have been kind of able to support themselves even their parents economically. But,due to the Family-Planning state policy, probelms and doubts arise along with a fairly abundant life all these years.
We do understand that a better-off life does not merely mean the economic sense, but should incorporate comfort of our minds.Where to spend the Spring Festival only constitutes a small part of varied questions including how to support the old for the married people both in rural and urban areas.
So,how to solve the confusions like "Where to Spend the Spring Festival"£¿
Ways-out do exist, but each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Please do not forget there is absolutely not totally perfect persons or things in the world. Here ,I would suggest the following:
First, also the most critical or key point, young couples should learn to be more mature, such as mutual understanding, mutual respect and negotiate to each other.Anyway, once you got married, you are not the only person and better not always conern yourself---not to be too self-centered.
Second, parents from both sides better understand their kids who bear much pressure in life and work, expecting to relax during their winter vacation. It's not good always complaining this or that to their son or daughter---no pressure should be placed any more, which may become a trigger of the conflicts between those young couple.
Third, exchange visits or some alternatives may be taken into account. For example, this year they can go to the husband's family while next year to his wife's.Posting some gifts before the Festival or making phone/vedio calls could help.
All in all,we should not be worrying about problems faced with us but try to settle them by using our heads. Many people would have their proper ideas on such questions.I do wish those young couples a really happy and nice New Year and parents in the world as well.
This said, any comments here on this topic is definitely welcome.
So,just let's share.
