为了避免电场受到影响，点电极和箱体壁之间保持了较大的间距（12 cm），这样，电场强度的分布就不会受到影响
in order to avoid the electric field being distorted, the distance between the point electrode and the wall of the chamber is designed enough big, it is 12 cm., in this case, the electric field will not be distorted.

electric field strength will not be influenced。电场强度一般翻译为electric field strength ，影响一般用influence ，最后一句的翻译为electric field strength will not be influenced。可能更准确

楼主的中英文缺陷有三：1.完全直译且语法错误，照搬中文顺序；2.叙述不够简练，前面“为了”后面又“这样”，重复啰嗦；3.描述欠精确——怎么能用“避免”、“不会”这么绝对的词呢？
