[交流] 【Sad】Your English is not really really good

I have been in Germany for one month. My professor here asked me to review a manuscript from China for him. Actually this manuscript has so many problems and we have to reject it. There are a few mistakes in the review letter I wrote. He said to me: Your English is not --really---really good! I repeated this sentence several times in my brain. I feel sad.

i believe your english must be better than mine, after all , you are living in a foreign country . i cannot imagine how  i can live in a foreign country.

you have been very good, do not be very sad, you will be better and better.

he said your english is not good, you can say in heart his chinese is so bad.
